Microsoft has started a new service which allow you to submit suspicious files, and Microsoft will check the file for possible malwares. Like this you are helping Microsoft to prepare patches for security vulnerability, and improve Windows security. This will also help Microsoft to improve their free security software like Windows Defender, Microsoft Security Essential.

How to submit suspicious files:

  • Visit Microsoft Malware Protection Center
  • Fill the simple form and upload the suspicious files. If you have many files to send, then zip all files in one file and upload the zipped file.
