Google Plus can now have a new feature “Search by image” OR “Face Recognition“. So, you will be able to search your friend using images.
This will be very unique feature in any social networking website. None Social networking site (Facebook, Myspace, Twitter etc.) have search by image feature.
How will search by image work
Suppose you want to search an unknown friend. You don’t know any thing about him but you have a picture of him. Upload the picture in your Google Plus Account and use Google Plus Face Recognition tool to find him on Google Plus. Isn’t this cool!!!
Google recently purchase PittPatt, a company that develops facial-recognition technology for images and video. So, we can expect search by image feature in Google Plus soon!!
