Now Search by Image on Googlehttp://www.techtin.com/google/now-search-by-image-on-google/ http://www.techtin.com/google/now-search-by-image-on-google/#comments Wed, 27 Jul 2011 04:54:36 +0000 Admin http://www.techtin.com/?p=2505 Google image search has added a new feature. Now you can search for images using any similar image on New Google Image Search.

So searching for images on Google is now more advanced. You can upload an image via four methods:

  • Just Drag and drop an image in search box.
  • Upload an image from your computer.
  • Copy and paste the URL of an image.
  • You can use Google search by Image Firefox or Chrome plugin.

Google search by image will search similar images and will show similar or related or relevant results.

Google search by image uses computer vision techniques to match your image to other images. From those matches, Google tries to generate an accurate “best guess” text description of your image, as well as find other images that have the same content as your search image. Your search results page can show results for that text description as well as related images.

So, Try new Google search by image

How to hide file name of images in Windows 7http://www.techtin.com/windows-7/how-to-hide-file-name-of-images-in-windows-7/ http://www.techtin.com/windows-7/how-to-hide-file-name-of-images-in-windows-7/#comments Fri, 13 May 2011 18:58:10 +0000 Admin http://www.techtin.com/?p=1804 In windows 7 you can hide file name of images. Most of the images on my laptop are from my Digital camera or from my mobile phone. So, most of the images file names are in series like SC20110205-093xxx.png

I do not want to display file name of images in explorer.

Here is an easy way to hide file name of images in windows 7. Right click in any folder having images and select View and then Hide file names.

Now windows 7 will not show file name of images.

The sale was announced and conformed on the Picnik blog and the Google Photos blog.

As of now, I don’t see any changes on Picnik website, but I am sure it will soon get Google integration. Means you can login using any Google ID to use Picnik.

What is Picnik
Picnik is a great website to edit, crop, do touch-ups and add cool effects to your photos online. You can import your photos from Picasa Web Albums, Flickr or Facebook or from your computer.
