Microsoft Corp today announced that it has partnered with Cloud.com to provide integration and support of Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V to the OpenStack project, an open source cloud computing platform. OpenStack Is Now Open for Windows Server. The addition of Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V provides organizations and service providers running a mix of Microsoft and non-Microsoft infrastructure with greater flexibility when using OpenStack.

Microsoft has released and updated its command-line reference guide. It can be applied to Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Vista.
The Windows command reference can be used for various purposes like to familiarize yourself with new and enhanced command-line tools, to learn about the command shell, and to automate command-line tasks by using batch files or scripting tools.
